This is how it all began

On April 26, 2021, I started with flu symptoms. At that time they were not alarming, as it was only a slight fever, headache and sore throat. Normal in a case of the flu.  By April 28, the dry cough was added (a more serious alarm sign), and by the next day I had already lost the senses of taste and smell. By this time I was taking all kinds of medicines to alleviate the symptoms of the flu, but it was clear that it was not just that. At home they all had similar symptoms, although it hit the children with a much lower intensity. On April 29 I requested the Covid test, and a disability because I really was not able to work like that.

Así empezó

El 26 de abril de 2021, comencé con síntomas de gripa. En ese momento no eran de alarma, pues se trataba solamente de algo de fiebre, dolor de cabeza y dolor de garganta. Lo normal en un caso de gripa. Para el 28 de abril, se sumó la tos seca (ya un signo de alarma más serio), y para el día siguiente ya tenía pérdida del gusto y el olfato. Para ese momento me encontraba tomando todo tipo de medicinas para aliviar los síntomas de la gripa, pero era claro que no se trataba sólo de eso. En casa todos tenían síntomas similares, aunque a los niños les dio con una intensidad mucho menor. El 29 de abril solicité la prueba de Covid, y una incapacidad porque realmente no era capaz de trabajar así.
